|Jiangdu Pumping Station Project，the starting point of the East Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project and the North-to-East Water Transfer Project of Jiangsu Province， is located in Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. The project is composed of four large-scale electric power pumping stations, five large-scale sluices, seven medium-sized sluices, three ship locks, two culverts, two fishways, power transmission and transformation projects and diversion and drainage channels. It is a large-scale water conservancy project with comprehensive functions of irrigation, drainage, flood discharge, navigation, power generation and improvement of ecological environment. Four of the pumping stations are equipped with 33 sets of large vertical axial-flow pumping units with a installed capacity of 55800 kW and a maximum pumping capacity of 508 cubic meters per second. They are the largest power drainage and irrigation project in China.
